Dr. Chad Barber

Dr. Barber was born and raised in South Porcupine until 2003 when he left Northern Ontario to begin his post-secondary education in Hamilton. In 2006 he graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Neuroscience. After achieving early acceptance into the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in fall of 2006 he enrolled into the 4 year chiropractic program and graduated in 2010 with clinical honours. Dr. Barber has also completed the requirements to become a Certified Contemporary Medical Acupuncturist, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Graston Technique provider.

As a licensed chiropractor, Dr. Barber takes an evidence-based approach in helping each individual to achieve optimal health. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of conditions and disorders relating to the skeletal, nervous, and muscular systems. He believes firmly in treating the source of the problem rather than the symptoms alone. Dr. Barber believes that education and proper communication is imperative to patient care. When people understand why their pain or dysfunction is occurring, it enables them to make the changes necessary to correct the problem at hand.

Dr. Barber is committed to helping each patient achieve and maintain a pain-free, healthy and active lifestyle using the safest and most cost effective methods of treatment. He also is happy to make himself accessible for and encourages discussion of his patients health care needs.
